While being a part of a sorority is full of fun and friendships, Alpha Gamma Delta also strives to enhance the academic life of our members. Scholarship is the highest standard in which the Epsilon Psi chapter holds itself to and encourages all of our members to succeed in. To keep our sisters accountable, our Vice President Scholarship prepares an academic plan each year and seeks to provide our members with the best resources possible to excel in their classes and future careers. She serves as the main contact our members can seek for help in any academic issues they may be facing and provides scholastic programming in many chapter meetings. Alpha Gamma Delta has made a commitment to academic excellence for the individual and the chapter and we have set goals to ensure that academic achievement remains a priority.

The Epsilon Psi chapter of Alpha Gamma Delta recognizes the vast diversity in the majors that The University of Texas at Dallas provides and embraces that diversity in our members. Among our members we have 25 different majors represented. With this it is never hard to find another sister who has the same major and is currently in or already taken the classes that another sister is seeking help within. We encourage all of our older sisters to seek out New Members who are in the same major as them to help answer any questions they may have or direct them in the right direction with what classes/professors to take. This is just another great way in which our chapter contributes to the academic success of our members.
