Alpha Gamma Delta was the first women's fraternity to establish an international philanthropic project. Over time, the Alpha Gamma Delta Foundation evolved with the mission that it "impacts and enriches our communities by providing essential support for education, philanthropy and leadership." The Foundation ensures that the Fraternity's mission will live on in Alpha Gamma Delta's second century, allowing women of all ages to make positive differences on their campuses and in their communities — leaving a legacy for generations of women to follow.

The Alpha Gamma Delta Foundation assists members through scholarship grants, wellness programs, leadership training and workshops. Members in emergency financial need are also aided through the support of the Foundation.

Since 1979, juvenile diabetes and diabetes research and education have been Alpha Gamma Delta's philanthropic focus. Through the Alpha Gamma Delta Foundation, the Epsilon Psi chapter has raised and contributed thousands of dollars for grants given annually to organizations and individuals for diabetes research, treatment and education.
