Fun!

While Alpha Gamma Delta certainly understands the importance of academics and community involvement, we also appreciate having fun with our sisters! Whether putting together costumes or getting dressed up for the annual Alpha Gam formal, we always have an amazing time together. Throughout the year Alpha Gams find entertainment in socials, date functions, dinners, mixers, and formals.

Mixers

Alpha Gamma Delta maintains excellent relations with the other Greek organizations on campus by interacting through monthly mixers. In the past we have gone salsa dancing with Chi Phi, been to Scaregrounds with Kappa Sigma, bowling with Zeta Beta Tau, and played games of Whirley Ball and Broomball with Sigma Alpha Epsilon. Alpha Gams also foster good relations with the other sororities on campus by having a service mixer every semester.

Formal

Each Spring, Alpha Gamma Delta looks forward to one of the biggest events of the year; formal. It’s a special evening where the girls get dressed up and invite their dates to a banquet where they are served dinner followed by dancing and an all around good time.

Theme Party

After the initiation of the new members, Alpha Gams celebrate by throwing an annual Theme Party. Some of our recent themes include, "Daisy Dukes and Cowboys Boots", "When I Grow Up", "The 80’s", "Cops and Robbers", and "Harleys and Hunnies".

Intramurals

Alpha Gams stay involved and active on campus by participating in intramurals. Whether you’re out on the court or field, or just cheering for the team, it’s a great way to show some spirit and have a little fun!
